Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu appealed to American legislators to
help Israel stave off what is likely to be a concerted global push to
haul the country’s military and political leaders to international

U.S. law requires that "no security assistance may be provided to any country the government of which engages in a consistent pattern of gross violations of internationally recognized human rights." Israel most certainly is guilty of this consistent pattern, and has been for many years. I demand that my government adhere to the rule of law and cut all U.S. military aid to Israel.
You are legally required to impose an arms embargo against Israel because U.S. shipment of arms to Israel is in strict violation of the Leahy law. Senator Patrick Leahy has brought this up in specific cases, and the major human rights organizations (Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch) have done so as well.
