VIDEO: North Carolina Sheriff David A. Clarke To Residents: Fight Back Against Crime By Taking Up Arms
Speaking at a community meeting on Monday night, Harnett County Sheriff Larry Rollins acknowledged a rise in violent drug and gang-related crime, and told residents that, to ensure his family’s safety, he personally never leaves home “without a gun.”“When I am out with my family, even though I am a cop, I don’t go anywhere without a gun,” Rollins stated to more than 100 people at the Spring Hill United methodist Church in Upper Little River Township. “I mean it’s sad we have to have that attitude, but I am going to protect myself and my family.”.
