Nasty Free Trade Agreement Between Canada and the European Union in Final Stages of Negotiations

Nasty Free Trade Agreement Between Canada and the European Union in Final Stages of Negotiations
Stuart Trew, a trade compaigner with the Council of Canadians spoke about the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), a free trade agreement being nogotiated under the table between Canada and the European Union.
This agreement is 75% out the way through the approval process and the Harper government wants it to go through as quickly as possible and without public opposition. There is a serious lack of media coverage and public knowledge about CETA. Once signed it is binding and will put corporate rights before local democracy and economies, encourage increased tar sands extraction, privatization of Canada's public sector including water.
CETA must be put to a holt. Stuart explains how the trade agreement will effect Canada's economy, democratic rights, and how Canadians can demand the agreement be put to a stop.
